Areas of Experience:

My first major accomplishment was saving a client $2.5 billion dollars with a routing issue in their network. Then I researched and built a battery backup solution for the North Carolina Secretay of State's office with a 30 minute backup time and controlled shutdown of all systems. More recently I helped 25th Signal Battalion in Bagram Afghanistan become the most cyber secured forward operating base in eastern Afghanistan. Currently I am working with a client to establish a wireless link between two locations with a bi-directional throughput speed of 3.5Gb.

About

As a child of 2 DoDDS (Department of Defense Dependent Schools) teachers, I grew up traveling to over 30 countries, learning cultures and adapting to new environments. During my grade school years I attended Culver Summer Military Academy where I made lots of life long friends throughout the world. Culver is where I was able to obtain my open water Scuba License & Student Pilots License. In my Junior and Senior years of High School I was introduced to JROTC and life in the theater. I enjoyed the behind-the-scenes aspect of the theater, lighting, sound, set building, etc. I took this new knowledge to California University of Pennsylvania where I studied Radio Communication. While at college I started to learn more about computers and started to really get into Macintosh systems. Deciding that dealing with hurricanes would be a lot more fun than dealing with snow I moved south to North Carolina where I started working for Computer Tree as an Apple Repair Technician. This is where my career began. Over the past 25 years of my career, I have had the pleasure of working for Fortune 500 companies, manufacturing companies, government agencies as well as small businesses.
